BOARD CERTIFIED, FELLOWSHIP-TRAINED SPORTS MEDICINE SPECIALIST
Dr. Justin Riojas is board certified in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He specializes in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of a wide range of sports-related injuries and orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Riojas grew up in Pflugerville, Texas. He attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended medical school at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. Following medical school, he completed residency training at the McGovern Family and Community Medicine program where he was honored as Intern of the Year and later served as Chief Resident. Dr. Riojas then pursued fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa in San Antonio, Texas.
Sports and an active lifestyle have always been an integral part of his life. Dr. Riojas enjoys Texas Longhorns baseball, Spurs basketball, and beach volleyball. He is married to his medical school sweetheart and enjoys exploring the Texas Hill Country with his family.
