PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Physician Assistant, Andrej Arquitola, joined Orthopedic Performance Institute in 2020 after graduating from the UT Health San Antonio Physician Assistant Program. He is committed to providing quality, patient-centered care in the realm of orthopedics.
He is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Texas to attend Texas A&M University in College Station. While at Texas A&M, he was a part of the Corps of Cadets and Aggie Band, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Health.
He completed his physician assistant education right here in San Antonio, earning his master’s in physician assistant studies. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, mountain biking, hiking, running, and spending time with friends and family.
Andrej Arquitola works closely with the Orthopedists to provide the following services:
- Sports Injury Care: Steroid injections, durable medical equipment application
- Osteoarthritis Management: Bracing and specialty off-loader bracing applications, steroid injections, hyaluronic acid injections
- Fracture Care: Splinting, casting, application of moldable/removable bracing
- Assist surgeons with surgical procedures and post-operative care
